Missy Marmite ( tabby ) was such a fun loving cat although she hissed a lot when we 1st had her at the age of 2 we nicknamed her miss hiss or spitfire. She used to always jump on the bed at night from the windowsill for her cuddles and strokes which put her in her element with her tail curled just at the tip. I really miss her and as she was only 7 when she had to be put down through cancer of the kidneys I feel she went to soon. She used to bring live mice into the house and even though she went out of the front door it was always the back door she came in. I still hear her miaow at night sometimes.

Precious Love
The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much...
I would not hurt so much.
But God knows I would not want to diminish
that precious love...
By one fraction of an ounce.

And I will be grateful for that hurt
For it bears witness to the depth of my love.
And for that I will be eternally grateful.
